My brother suggested I might like this website. He was totally right. This post actually made my day. You cann’t imagine just how much time I had spent for this information! Thanks!
Thanks for your comments Gilberto. Tell me where you are based,(Country and town/city) and I will be happy to look for a club near you which you could visit and experience the safe space that Toastmasters Clubs create.
You actually make it seem really easy with your presentation but I to find this matter to
be actually something which I think I’d never understand.
It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me.
I am looking forward to your subsequent post, I will try to get the hold of
it!
Thanks for your comment. I understand your concerns that speaking is something that most people find difficult or scary. In fact the majority of people who join a toastmasters club, started out from a similar position. Thy often start by just watching and listening to other members and reflecting on the commendations and recommendations given by other members to the speakers. They also chat to other members informally and soon discover that even the best speakers started out feeling fearful. Attending two or three meetings free of charge and experiencing the supportive friendly environment is the best way to discover how we operate and decide whether it is for you or not. I hope this comment helps.
